How bad am I??

Looks like I'm not being very good at updating my blog LOL!!

Think I'll just stick with facebook for the time being.

Home Sweet Home

We arrived back home a few hours ago!

We had a fab time, despite the heat!! Greece/Turkey was having a heatwave whilst we were there and was way up in the 40's! Too hot for us, we were shade bathing a lot of the time, and didn't get off the ship in a couple of places due to the heat.

I did take some photos, but need to sort them out onto my pc.

A few days ago I had a manicure on the ship, and got chatting to the girl doing my nails and found out she was flying back the same time as us as her contract ended - well she was sat behind us on the plane, and whilst chatting she mentioned she was stopping at friends in Hemel Hemstead (she is an Ozzie), and bizzarly we gave her a lift back to our house (not far from Hemel), where her friend picked her up!! She was great, and gave me quite a few make up'y bits!

Bye For Now

Well we're off to Legoland tomorrow, then staying at a Gatwick hotel tomorrow night, then flying off for our cruise on Thursday!!

Will hopefully have lots of lovely pictures to add when we get back on 28th June!

Phew!

Thomas went for tea at his friends yesterday after school, and I had to pick him up earlier than agreed as he went poorly! When I picked him up he had a bit of a temperature and was shivvery, anyway I packed him to bed with lots of Nurofen. He woke several times in the night and was sick once, but *fingers crossed* he seems ok today - kept him off school just in case!!

I was worried that he might be ill for our holiday on Thursday, but I guess it's almost a week till then and he'd have lots of time to get better!

What happens when you give a 5 year old a camera???

Catch Up!!

OOps, not updated for a wee while, but we went away last week to stay in Hayling Island (in a caravan without internet!!). We had a great few days, the weather was only really bad one morning, but we just went shopping!! We stayed in my husbands ex-Mother-in-laws caravan (been loads of times) which is on a site which has just been taken over and redeveloped, so lovely and new!! Hayling Island Holiday Park had a kids club with great evening entertainment, and an indoor and outdoor pool.

Whist we were there, we discovered that Tom is a bit of an adrenalin junkie!! We took him to the funfair (forgot my camera!) and we bought him a wrist band so he could have unlimited rides - well, he didn't want to know the kiddies rides and instead went on the roller coasters and big log flume - as Mark and I didn't have a wrist band, he was going on the rides with random strangers who would take him on (too short to go on his own - apart from one roller coaster which he stayed on 3 turns as we couldn't get him off!!).

Then, when we went to Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth, he spotted this trampolene thing and wanted a go (not cheap at £5 for 5 minutes!), my heart was in my mouth at one stage as he went so high up and I thought he was going to flip upside down!

Oh Well, we go on the cruise a week on Thursday!!

Tom was watching cbeebies, and Floella Benjamin was reading a story, which got me thinking about Playschool, so had a look on youtube, and in the sideline it had clips for the Flumps!!
I used to love this, but remember it being much more sleeker than this LOL

Tom drew this picture at school today, they were learning about shadows, and the picture is the sun shining on the tree, and the tree's shadow - but I guess you can tell that ;o)

Chloe and Maisie bought him a few bits back from their holiday in Portugal, and amongst the bits and bobs was this huuuuuge pencil which he insisted on using to do his 'working'!
